Opening up your church building(s)
The function of a church is constantly changing and that change is happening increasingly rapidly. A church is more than just its building(s); it is also a meeting place. More and more churches are therefore opening their doors outside the hours of worship.
PARCUM and Open Kerken collaborate
With care and creativity, religious heritage can be kept alive and made enduringly relevant. PARCUM wants to help church councils to open up this heritage. That is why we have strengthened our ties with Open Kerken (Open Churches). The Open Kerken organisation has been working towards this goal for years. And it will continue to do so. Via Open Kerken, you can submit a request to open up your church. A PARCUM adviser will then visit you and help you to make your church more accessible safely.
